Ceiling Tile

The Ceiling Til project, I worked with Kegan Lamentola on it. We did a Mario Brothers themed ceiling tile. On the ceiling tile we drew Boo, Yoshi, Kirby, Toad, Bullet, and Chain Dog guy. This project was very fun to do and we worked on it,even though we dint get it done because we ran out of time :( Anyways, this project was very fun to do and I enjoyed working on this project!! :)

Water Color

For the Water Color project, I wasn't able to do it because I was working on a different subject and ran out of time to start and finish it. I thought the Water Color project would be very fun to do if I would have had time to do it but since I didn't I finished my other project.

Printing

For the Printing project, I chose a very common symbol, a saint symbol. It was fun carving out the symbol in the block of material. Also, using paint on it was fun and making a stamp. This project did take a long time but that was because you had to carve the symbol out and make it how you wanted it so if you wanted just the symbol sticking out it took longer to carve out. All in all this project was very fun to do and I enjoyed doing it!

Art Career (Graphic Design)

I chose the art career, graphic design. I think this is a very cool career to go into. I was thinking about doing a summer job at a print making shop in Mt.Pleasant but all the spots were full. The average yearly salary for being a graphic designer is about $44,150. The job duties that you would have to fulfill would to prepare supplies, work productively and efficiently, and to clean up all work that is done. Also, to help fulfill the buyers wants and needs. If you go to get your Bachelor's degree for graphic design, which would mean more money, would be about 4 years. After getting your Bachelors degree, you can proceed to getting a Masters degree. You would be working with other employees and business for your career. Being a graphic designer isn't a career that I would want to do into later in my life. I'm not very good at art and I already know what I want to go to college for, and it doesn't involve art. I do think this would be a very fun art career to go into!

Border Control

I thought this art piece was very fun to do and make. You got to pick your own image and then make your own borders along with it. I don't feel like I had very many choices that I can do to make it look good. I think that I could have done a lot better with painting and doing borders. Towards the end of the project, I rushed to finish it and didn't necessarily care about it looking good.

4 Step Drawing

I absolutely loved this project!! I had so much fun doing it too!! You got to pick your own object and and color the object and the background!I had so much fun doing this project because I used the pink Browning symbol that had a bow in it. After that was done I got to do camouflage around the background. I had to mix black, brown, and and green to make camouflage. It took a long time to do this project but overall it was very fun and I would definitely do this project over again!

Gesture Drawing

This project was fun because you got to look through magazines! Besides that you got to draw the image as make it look life like on paper instead of stick figures. It was a little hard for me since I always just draw stick figures. After that you got to shade the figures and overall it was pretty fun.
